Success For Shieldhill Angler

This rainbow at a shade under 10½lbs was taken by Owen Sinclair from Shieldhill, Falkirk on the 17th May 2014 fishing the bay at the eastern end of the loch opposite the Drummond Hotel in St. FillansThis was literally Owen's first cast of the day when the huge fish took his floated maggot on a 2½ foot dropper.A fellow angler came to Owen's rescue after a ten minute battle as he'd forgotten his landing net!!
