A Brace Of Early Brownies

A bitterly cold day four days into the 2007 fishing season and these two Glasgow anglers are rewarded for their patience with a nice brace of browns. Fishing off the old stone pier on the South Shore road near Neish Island Duncan McDonald landed a 1½ pounder on a Claret Fritz and Nicolas Valentin originally from Lille in France had a cracking 3lbs fish on the maggot.
